A People-Led Movement To Build Africa
In September 2012, our founder Korede Awobowale stepped into Nigeria for the first time in 16 years and was deeply impacted by the gulf between the rich and poor. After many conversations and a long process of learning, she concluded that access to education (of all types) would go a long way to solving the problem.
In January 2020, we launched a charity that would focus on harnessing the power of the collective to build the African education sector. We do this in two ways:
1. By matching skilled professions to needs within the organisations we work with
2. By taking on projects within local communities that lack structures in place
