ABOUT THE VEMOYE FOUNDATION:

We're raising Africa's future workforce by providing educational institutions with the support and resources they need to pass on 21st-century skills to as many students as possible.

GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Chief Financial Officer’s (CFO) responsibilities include overseeing cash flow planning, preparing and reviewing budgets and tracking operational metrics (KPIs.) To be successful in this role, you should be experienced in fundraising and perhaps grant writing.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
1. Increase our revenue streams – Take a look at what we are already doing and bring ideas on how we can fund our projects
2. Budgeting – We will need to monitor our cashflow and ensure we have the funds for the projects we have taken on.
3. Donor management – Look after our donors and build the donor group
4. Build partnerships that will lead to sponsorships

Leadership - Has great leadership qualities and is comfortable leading a team of volunteers

Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management and forecasting methods

Passion about the cause – The Vemoye Foundation has big plans to shake up the African education system and those within the executive are passionate about access to education as well as passionate about Africa achieving its full potential.

Problem solver – Within our projects, you will need to make a call on different issues and problems that may arise. You need to be a good decision-maker and problem solver.

COMMITMENT REQUIREMENT

Monthly meeting with the C-Suite (CEO, CFO, CMO, COO)
